Introducing CouponsByDomain.com and the Coupons API

We’re thrilled to introduce http://www.couponsbydomain.com/. Our first ever, fully owned affiliate website and the first property that uses the newly launched Coupons API.

CouponsByDomain.com lets you find coupon codes, promotions and deals simply by entering a domain name. Some samples are 101phones.comexpedia.comritzcamera.com , zazzle.com and 1000s more.

Our Coupons API lets you query our coupons database programmatically. To demonstrate this functionality we’ve also launched a Conduit app which is embedded below - this toolbar plugin automatically finds available coupons based on websites and domains you are currently visiting and it is a free download.

Watch this space for more updates. We plan on launching some more interesting coupon and deal-related tools and services.

Wibiya Integrates Kehalim Express Ads

As you probably heard by now, we’ve rolled out Express Ads as a Wibiya application. This integration simplifies monetization of over 25,000 affiliate programs to (literally) 1 click!

We’re going to use this space to answer all of the questions we’ve encountered. If your question is not listed, please send it across by commenting below or this form.

How does it work?

Whenever a visitor clicks on any outgoing link on your website or blog, we check if this link has an active affiliate program behind it. If so, we convert it on-the-fly so you can earn money, otherwise - we simply skip it and redirect normally. Everything happens in real-time, and does not change the user experience or destination URL. More information is here.

What merchants or countries are supported?

Over 25,000 affiliate programs from the major affiliate networks are supported (from 1800PetMeds to AirFare.com to ZoneAlarm). This list is updated daily.

What will happen to my other affiliate links (e.g. Amazon)?

We simply skip them, your affiliate links will not be changed.

How do I sign up?

On your Wibiya dashboard, choose “Add Application > Earn Money” and install the “Express Affiliate Links” application. That’s it, you’re all set! (Niche Galore has a step-by-step guide, too). There is no need to open an account here or even register with any affiliate network.

Where/when will I see my earnings?

On your dashboard, under the “Express Ads” tab. Reports are updated daily with your total earnings and number of clicks that were converted to affiliates.

Will I earn more if I sign up directly with Kehalim?

No. All of our publishers keep 70% of all earnings. Signing up through Wibiya is extremely more simple and will not affect your net earnings in any way.

How will I get paid?

Once you start generating commission, we’ll ask for your paypal email through the Wibiya dashboard and pay you directly.

We will continue updating this post, so be sure to post your question as comments or through this form.

    Omgili Deploys Kehalim Affiliate Ads

A warm welcome to our latest publisher Omgili, the web’s largest forum and discussion search engine.

Omgili lets you find relevant, actual and real-time discussions by real people, see a “buzz graph” of conversations around a specific topic and filter your search by number of participants, time-frame and related queries.

As of today, Omgili also deploys Kehalim’s affiliate banner and text ads to contextually and automatically match search queries to highly rewarding affiliate programs. Some examples are: LCD, Insurance, Skincare, Lamps, Batteries, Vacation as well as any imaginable user query.

Try it yourself on http://omgili.com/ and let us know how we are doing.

    Kehalim to Beta-test Amazon RDS

For the last few months we were fortunate to beta-test Amazon’s newest Relational Database Service.

After a successful migration we have now scaled most of our data handling to RDS. From Amazon’s press release:

“We started using Amazon RDS to store metadata for each and every publisher, advertiser and creative we serve through the system,” said Michael Lugassy, founder and CEO of Kehalim, an advertising optimization and monetization platform, in a statement. “After noticing a big performance improvement, we decided to use Amazon RDS to track all of our impression, clicks and earning data as well. Results were amazing and freed us from the need to run our own MySQL instances. Amazon RDS allows us to focus on front-end features, rather than back-end database complexity.”

Clients should see a significant boost in ad-server performance, most notably impression and click through speeds.

We wanted to thank Amazon Web Services team for an insightful private-beta and good luck with the new service.

As you may or may not know, Kehalim had participated TechCrunch50’s 2009 Demopit which was a big fun. Our dear friend Yaron Orenstein, had posted a short clip, interviewing Kehalim’s Founder & CEO Michael Lugassy. Though in Hebrew, the video is embedded above.
